Eats
A little running list of my favorite food spots in London:
Food
- Dishoom - Indian
- I got the chicken tikka, lentil daal and cheddar naan. Great place to split and try multiple dishes!
- Circolo Popolare - Italian
- Found this restaurant when I recognized the interior from my 2024 vision board. Beautiful. Amazing. Love it.
- Suzette - French
- Try the savoury galettes.
- Flat Iron - Steakhouse
- Great cheap steak.
- Molly Rose Bakery - Bakery
- The Queens Arms (Sunday roast) - English
- I recommend splitting the chicken roast, cheesy cauliflower, and rhubarb crumble.
- Spud Bros - English
- Less is more here IMO - some of the sauces are spicy so beware!
- Nando's - Afro-Portuguese
- Can't really go wrong here.
- Spitalfields Market (my home away from home during my internship in Shoreditch!)
- Bread & Truffle - Italian
- Bomb focaccia sandwiches.
- Chai Guys - Indian
- AMAZING Chai.
- Fen Noodles - Chinese
- INSANE hand-pulled beef noodles.
- Hash Hut - street food
- Yummy mac & cheese and pulled pork hash browns.
- Humble Crumble - English
- Worth the hype.
- Puffy's Cookies - American
- They're puffy and melt-in-your-mouth buttery. 10/10 recommend.
- Wahaca - Mexican
- The beef tacos and loaded nachos are tasty.
- Hobson's Fish and Chips - English
- Great fish & chips, great mushy peas.
- Eggslut - American
- Weird name, great egg sandwiches.
- Din Tai Fung - Taiwanese
- Only go for the CHOCOLATE DESSERT DUMPLINGS. Nothing else there is worth the price tag.
- Artful Blend - Fusion
- Kimcheese twist toastie
- Borough Market
- The Black Pig "The Best One" sandwich. Pro tip: it's surprisingly common for people to forget to pick up their sandwiches, so you could get lucky just waiting by the stand for a FREE SANDWICH! call.
- Wild Mushroom Risotto
Gelato
- Amorino
- Venchi
- Oddono's
